Welcome to the Australian Indigenous Leadership Centre |
The Australian Indigenous Leadership Centre aims to foster new Indigenous leadership at all levels, capable of finding ways forward for all Australians. It is a not-for-profit company, owned and controlled by Indigenous Australians.
The Centre was established in 2001. As a Registered Training Organisation, it offers accredited courses in Indigenous Leadership, and non-accredited short courses in specific leadership skills and mentoring.
As well as providing courses, we aim to have a strong organisation which will:
- Increase Indigenous people’s formal knowledge, skills and capacity to take effective leadership in their own lives and in their communities
- Foster ongoing development and connection among our graduates
- Research, promote and communicate the elements of effective Indigenous leadership
